Walt Disney Eats digital channel has become a reality as the company introduced a new digital brand called Disney Eats during its annual NewFront on May 1, 2018.
Disney eat is an online channel and editorial site that grants you access to a world of culinary adventure, in partnership with the online food-based network Tastemade. As would be expected, Disney Eats shows features seasons of Tiny Kitchen, with chefs creating small replicas of Disney food and Kitchen Little, the channel which will showcase kids working with celebrity chefs.
Moreso, the channel is part of the Disney Digital Network, which was previously a youtube known as Maker Studios and was acquired by Disney in 2014 for $500 million, according to CNBC.
Walt Disney told reporters that the food channel will uphold health standards that it had previously imposed on advertisers which are to ensure that food products advertised on its television networks adhere to specific nutritional standards.
As a potential money-making venture, Disney Eats digital channel sells branded cooking equipment and kitchen utensils, cookbooks and bakeware, at various prices. The online Disney store offers Disney Eat’s Collection, including mugs, travel mugs, cutlery sets, aprons etc…, featuring Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse.

Walt Disney also relaunched its free mobile app, Oh My Disney as well as a podcast series. It debuted its new programs for Facebook Watch including:
- Disney Dream Job, a series about five children who spend a day working with Disney employees and
- Designing Disney, a show about designers who create Disney-inspired projects
The multi-million company launch more content for Marvel and Star Wars fans, including a new documentary series and fan awards within the programming.
