5. 1/4 cup powdered milk
6. 3 tablespoons margarine or butter

Procedure
1. Set a clean pot on the fire and pour in the oil.
2. Drop three to four seeds of corn into the pot, cover and turn the heat to medium-high. This is to check for the right temperature required to pop the corns.
3. Once they are popped, pour the rest of the corn into the pot and stir well. Make sure the popcorn isn’t overflowing in your bowl — you’ll need some headspace in order to mix them with the rest of the ingredient.
4. Remove from heat and place on a countertop for 30 seconds.
5. After 30 seconds, place the pot back on heat and make sure its properly covered.
6. Listen to the frequency of the popping noise, once the corn begins to pop.
8. Shake the pot vigorously and waiting for the frequency of the popping noises to slow. Do not open until all the corns are popped.
9. As the corns are popping, place the butter, sugar and flavour in a saucepan and melt, stirring well and not allow it to burn.
10. Once you’re certain the popping sounds have stopped and all the corns are popped, turn off the heat.
11. Pour in the melted sugar and butter mix and the powdered milk. Cover the pot and shake vigorously to properly coat – under low heat.
12. Your homemade popcorn is done and ready for the munching!
