Some of Brad Meltzer’s Must-Read Books

If you’re wondering how best to be introduced to the Brad Meltzer world, maybe you should start with these 3.  In my opinion and the opinions of experts in the field, these have been rated very highly by lovers of good books, especially thrillers and mysteries.

1. The Tenth Justice:

Brad Meltzer's Books
The Tenth Justice

This book was the very first book published by the author, Brad and it is also one of the best books you can read. Admittedly, every of Meltzer’s books is a hit but some just stand out from others and when you read the story of The Tenth Justice, you will understand why it is standing out.

This novel tells the tale of 4 fresh-out-of-college housemates in their 20s who strive to make it big in their careers.

When Ben, a Supreme Court clerk makes a slip-up that threatens his career, he reaches out to his roommates for help. Luckily and unluckily, these other 3 roommates have jobs that allow them to pull strings here and there while seeking a way out for Ben.

Nathan, a worker at the State Department, Eric who reports for a Washington Daily, and Ober, the assistant to a leading senator all put heads to seek a solution to Ben’s case. They do this while attempting to uncover the blackmailer who threatens Ben’s job and future.

However, another mistake is made amongst the friends in the course of their investigations and this puts a strain on their relationship and loyalty and further puts them in vulnerable states.

The friends also realize that they were treading on very dangerous grounds but they had already stuck their necks in too deep, or have they?

If you love legal thrillers and love to be kept at the edge of your seat when reading literary pieces then you should read this. You should also recommend it to all your friends because it is one book that every lover of great plots would enjoy

2. The First Counsel:

The First Counsel

This isn’t your regular ‘boy meets girl’ fantasy book. It is not even the regular ‘glass slippers fitting Cinderella’ type of plot.

This one is a story that will test your resilience as much as it tasted Michael Garrick’s.

We know it’s no easy feat to date a President’s daughter but despite all the tough security and protection, Michael thought his relationship with Nora, the President’s daughter would go relatively smoothly.

Until tragedy struck and now he trusts no one, not even his beloved Nora.

After the lovebirds witness something they shouldn’t have, he gets intertwined in a secret agenda and has to fight to prove his innocence.

The plot of this book is one where no one is spared, not even the occupants of the White House, and definitely not the one-time lover boy, Michael.

I could tell you more about this book but what use would that be when you can enjoy it better by just reading it by yourself? It has been described as the book ‘page-turner’ was meant for.

3. The Inner Circle:

The Inner Circle

Beecher White is a young archivist working at the White House. He possibly underestimated how intense and important his job is and when he got entangled with his first crush, things began to dawn on him and his life takes an unexpected route.

Clementine Kaye, Beecher’s childhood crush reached out to him for a favor to help find her long-lost father. Excitement soon turned into a gory discovery because soon after Beecher and Kaye rummaged through classified documents in the White House, they found a 200-year-old dictionary belonging to George Washington and soon discovered things they were never supposed to know.

Then the thriller begins with Beecher and Kaye finding themselves in a web of lies, deception, murder, and conspiracy.

While in search of the truth to save himself from the entanglement, he learns a lot about the dictionary and even finds a coded and ingenious puzzle that holds a rather disturbing secret from George Washington and this further complicates his safety.

It is no secret that Brad is fascinated with legal and political thrillers and although some of his publications are fiction, there are things you can learn about politics and the law in the United States of America.

Candid advice, read as many Brad Meltzer’s books as possible – in order or not. Also, be sure to read this particular one so you won’t miss out on the amazing plot.

Other best-selling Novels from Brad include…
