Throughout the 1990s, Lemanowicz played mainly for US hockey teams and Penticton Panthers of Canada in different leagues. Jill and her husband first met when she was 17 and the retired hockey player was 20. At the time, David was playing professional hockey while Jill had not started her career in entertainment.
They dated and Jill was so much in love that she would sneak out to meet him at night. She also used to send him Gwen Stefani’s songs to help them stay connected.
Nonetheless, the relationship was short-lived and both of them had different relationships afterward.
