Close a decade after the sensational TV show ended, Mike & Molly cast members are still attracting attention. Although many of them including lead actors, Billy Gardell and Melissa McCarthy who acted as Mike and Molly respectively, have gone to feature in other great shows, their coming together in this production has remained a thing not to forget.
Here is a look at how all the stars of the show have featured after the show which began in 2010 came to an end in 2016.
Mike & Molly Cast Members
1. Billy Gardell as Mike Biggs
One of the Titular characters of the show is Mike Biggs, who is portrayed by Billy Gardell. He Chicago police officer who struggles with weight issues and forms a relationship with Molly.
Since Mike & Molly, he has appeared in several other films and TV shows including Sun Records where he took the main role of Colonel Tom Parker, as well as Bob Hearts Abishola where he again took the lead role of Bob.
Now, Billy has lost so much weight and continues his acting and comedic career. his most recent portrayal was in the TV show, Extended Family in 2024.
2. Melissa McCarthy as Molly Flynn
The role of the second titular character is played by Melissa McCarthy. Molly appears as a school teacher and the love interest of Mike. They fell in love at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting.
Since the show, the actress and screenwriter has appeared in many more works including Little Big Shots in 2020 as the host, Nine Perfect Strangers in 2021, and The Simpsons in 2022. Her most recent appearance was in Only Murders in the Building.
3. Reno Wilson as Carl McMillan
Carl McMillan who is portrayed by Reno Wilson is another great cast of the show. He is Mike’s partner on the police force and one of his closest friends.
Since the show, Reno Wilson has appeared in several other shows including Good Girls (2018 -2021), Bel-Air (2023), and the 2023 miniseries Fatal Attraction.
3. Katy Mixon as Victoria Flynn
There is also Molly’s younger sister who happens to be more vocal in the show, Victoria Flynn. Her character is portrayed by Katy Mixon.
In 2016, the same year the show ended, she appeared in Hell or High Water and was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Acting Ensemble for her role of Jenny Ann in the film. She also got married to field athlete Breaux Greer in the same year and they now have 2 kids.
She has also appeared in various other TV shows including American Housewife (2016-2021), and the miniseries, The Thing About Pam (2022)
5. Nyambi Nyambi as Samuel
Samuel, portrayed by Nyambi Nyambi may only be a supporting character, but he is still one of the most interesting cast members of Mike & Molly. He is the bartender at the local bar where Mike and his friends hang out.
He has appeared in The Good Fight from 2017 to 2022. He has also voiced for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2017 and made an appearance in Titans (2022-2023). His most recent work is Night Court which began in 2024 and still runs.
6. Swoosie Kurtz as Joyce Flynn
Another interesting person in the cast of Mike and Molly is Joyce Flynn who is portrayed by Swoosie Kurtz. She appears as Molly’s eccentric and rather quirky mother.
Even though she is now in her 80s, she has still managed to appear in several other films and TV shows since Mike & Molly. She had a recurring role in Man with a Plan from 2017 to 2020, and then she had the main role of Sheila in Call Me Kat from 2021 to 2023.
7. Louis Mustillo as Vince Moranto
Another character worth mentioning is the much younger on-off boyfriend of Joyce, Vince Moranto, who was portrayed by Louis Mustillo. He later became her husband in the show.
Since his appearance in the show, he has also made appearances in various other films and TV shows including Blue Bloods in 2021 and Bobcat Moretti in 2022.

David Higgins as Steve: Steve is Carl’s friend and occasionally appears in episodes with comedic subplots. He made appearances in 27 episodes.
Cleo King as Rosie: Rosie is a waitress at the local diner, who appears in multiple episodes. Her role as a grandma in the show was in 57 episodes.
Ellen A. T. Futterman as Marge: Marge is a quirky and eccentric woman who has a few appearances throughout the series.
Jackie Clarke as Shirley: Shirley is another of Molly’s friends who is occasionally featured in some episodes.
Anthony Brown as James: James is a friend of Mike and Carl, who occasionally adds to the humor with his antics.
Maribeth Monroe as Vicky: Vicky is Molly’s friend and colleague at school.
